The few episodes of the long awaited show Stargate Universe that have already been aired, were more than enough to disappoint the fans of the two previous shows Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Why? If you want my opinion, the bad play acting is above all reasons. Y may have noticed that all actors there (probably except Robert Carlyle) act as they are forced to be part of this show, and as they have one thought in their heads “Pity I could not make It in Heroes”. You may judge me for saying that, but guys, face it, that is the truth.

Two new videos are online now, delivering a glimpse into the latest Stargate sequel. They include clips from the show, plus soundbites from the cast.
And it seems like the show will have a view tone from previous Stargate incarnations. Slightly darker and more earnest, very much about the survival of the human will a long way from home, trust issues with an enemy working against them from the inside, a slightly reportage approach to the camera work, “a story about hope and faith” as one of the stars puts it.
So, basically, like Battlestar Galactica.

Cooper gave us some very informative, interesting, and quite intellectual talk to an enthusiastic audience and Stargate fans. Stargate Universe
While the teasers that have been aired so far for Stargate Universe (SGU) have been very dark (see “Frantic” and “Philosophical”), there will definitely be humor in the series. The teasers, created by Sci Fi Channel, are meant to set a mood and an energy, but the characters will have innate humor. The show is set in the here and now, and even in bad situations, people make jokes.
